Yenqing Global Symposium | Pekin University 2018

The Yenching Global Symposium is the Yenching Academy’s flagship event. Hosted on the Peking University campus every spring, the four-day event is comprised of engaging lectures, panel discussions, and interactive sessions about China’s impact on the world and the influence that the world has on China. Each year, the Symposium features prominent Chinese and international scholars, along with leading professionals from a wide range of fields.

Bea gave a keyonote lecture around Transitaional Urabanism and how design and social innovation in archiecture and multidisciplinary practices are chaning the Chinese city - the lecture preceded delegates' 'immersion day' when they engaged in half day discovery tour around the capital.
